Exactly eight (8) days after sending it to Sig for repairs, so not a bad turn around. Inspected the gun, all looked good, obviously new take down lever installed and no cosmetic or physical damage to the gun.

Even without the guide rod problem the take down lever on a new 320 can be quite difficult to rotate. Typically the problem goes away after it wears in just a bit. Open slide, put gun in left hand and using right thumb push takedown lever from over the top of the gun. Much easier that way. When I was done cleaning, I reinserted the FCU into the frame (easy enough). The difficulty I have is getting the takedown pin back into the hole. With it in the 6:00 position put the slide back on and return the lever to normal. Lock the slide back and work the lever to the 6:00 and back up multiple times. ….
