Lost mucus plug at 27 weeks

05/03/2014 at 7:21 pm. I'm 35 weeks on Saturday, been losing bits of mine since 27 weeks.. unfortunately it means absolutely nothing!! If you were going to go into labour soon the thing you should look out for is a bloody show which is totally different to a mucus plug.

Lost mucus plug at 27 weeks. Lost my plug my first pregnancy just before 35 weeks. Nothing happened for a week or so. Then my water broke (pinhole leak) at 36 weeks, and I had my son less than 24 hours after that.

I'm now 36 weeks and still pregnant. My c-section was booked for 39 weeks but cervix is soft so doc is considering moving it forward a week as he's doubtful I'll make it to 39. He says only contractions and water breaking are proper signs of labour, not losing mucus plug but it does mean something is going on.
