The FPS counter/rest of the nvidia overlay just doesn't show automatically anymore and you have to toggle it using alt + r. Where as before it would just autodetect the game was running and toggle itself on and if you wanted to turn it off you'd have to do alt + z and go in overlay layout and turn off fps counter.
