The Affinity is built by Benelli in the same plant. Looks and feels a bit like the Benelli M2, but the recoil spring is in the forearm and not the stock. With the Affinity's super long receiver, it has a longer sight plane than my 28" Remington 1100 LT-20. One other difference is the forearm is slimmer on the m2, but I have zero issues with the forearm on the affinity. Both are high quality guns. Benelli is a much higher quality that franchi. But franchi is a solid budget semi auto. Benelli will stand behind there product until your grand children own than gun.
