The only reason you won’t get fired for negative UPT would be if you have PTO to cover it. So I highly doubt you had 16 hours of PTO to cover this… And by the way you cannot use vacation time to cover negative UPT. Don't quit let them fire you can also reapply anyway. The job isn't even the best. If you want your upt back to negative just go yo the App and say you have an emergency back date the days you need off. You can say you're sick. They will eventually denied you but your upt will reverse. It all depends really. They did it for me the other week. I had just got off covid leave so I couldn't do that again. If you can file for covid leave for the day you went negative and say that's when your leave symptoms started and your upt will be refunded.
