Bowfa without crystal armour

I've just camped crystal and not brought the arma in. (Crystal body+ legs, not helm) People heavily overestimate the use cost, in an average solo i vary between 25-40 charges per armour piece, less than a single crystal shard per raid. You can thieve an average of 140 shards in an hour. BowFa deez nuts.

It's similar or better than addy darts blowpipe on low def monsters, and bp wins with better darts. Bow is generally very strong against high def targets, but will lose to tbow if the target has very high magic. Most important is where you want to use it. I had crystal bow and now bowfa. If you are lower level, it might be worth it just to get blowpipe first and get your stats up/maybe do some chambers in hopes of rigour/augury. The body provides a 15% accuracy bonus and 7.5% damage bonus. The legs provide a 10% accuracy bonus and 5% damage bonus. By not getting the armour, you're missing out on a total of 30% ...
