Bci malfunction 2019 nissan armada

1 Electrical System problem. The vehicle displays a bci malfunction, aeb braking warning, and traction control indicator light is on. Vehicle does not recognize that the brake pedal is being depressed when trying to start the car. Pushing the start button only cycles the ignition through the on and acc options.

When the bci malfunction occurs, the car will refuse to start, will malfunction while you are driving and the car loses the ability to break and/or control the speed. I have had the part replaced three times and it continues to act up. Nissan is aware of this issue because I had a 2019 Armada that did the same thing.1. Clean it. 2. Get a new one from your Nissan Dealer ($60). I chose to clean it the first time and second time I just bought a new one. In any case if you want to immediately fix it, you're going to have to open it up (you'll need a flathead) and pry it open.I get a single click on the key turn (sounds like a dead battery start attempt). I then take the key out and try again (or twice in the case of early this morning), and the truck cranks right up. My battery is a 6-month-old Redtop and provides plenty of power (I have checked that). I haven't gotten any further than that this morning.1. Keep your battery clean and free of corrosion. My 2017 Armada has spent 13 days over 3 visits in the Nissan shop, trying to solve the BCI Malfunction issues many people have.
