AlDente comes with some maintenance stuff that you have to do occasionally if you don’t want the calibration thrown way off. With the default macOS stuff, it’s not necessary. Battery replacements aren’t too expensive. Even if AlDente extends my battery lifespan by 25%, I don’t feel like it’s worth the additional annoyance.
